Kos has the two things a destination wedding needs most: long, reliable summers and a short, easy journey for your guests. Tigaki sits about 20 minutes from Kos International Airport, and on our estate the ceremony, the party and the beds can all be within a few minutes' walk of each other. Here is how we help couples shape the day — in the order we usually talk it through.
Start with the ceremony — or decide you don't need one
Many couples arrive with the legal part already done at home and want a celebration rather than a ceremony. That is why we price the two separately. A ceremony by the beach at TRIBE or in the TERA garden under the arch is its own package: set-up, styling, seating, music and our planner. If you only want the party, skip straight to the reception and nothing is wasted.
If you do want both, the two spots can be mixed freely. Vows on the sand and dinner in the gardens is the most popular pairing; a garden ceremony followed by a barefoot beach party is the second. The TAF Beach Villas package is the exception — there the ceremony and the reception stay together on the estate.
Pick the reception by the mood, not the headcount
TRIBE beach takes up to 200 guests and the party ends at midnight, which suits couples who want the sunset, bare feet and a bonfire feeling. The TERA venue takes up to 300, with music outdoors until 01:00 and indoors until 03:00 — the choice for a long dance floor. The villas host up to 120 across three nights and feel like a private house party.
Every reception package is priced from 30 guests and grows per additional guest, so you can read the real number for your list on the packages page or in the quote builder — the two always agree because they use the same pricing engine.
Choose your date with the calendar in mind
May, June, September and early October give the softest light and the most comfortable evenings. July and August are hotter and busier, so ceremonies move later and the party runs longer. Monday to Thursday dates are 10% cheaper on every package and add-on — a quiet way to fund the live band or an extra open-bar hour.
The quote builder shows live availability, so if your heart is set on a Saturday in June, hold it early.
Let the gardens and the sea do the decorating
Our florists work with what already grows here: palms, bougainvillea, olive and lots of green. White and cream with touches of terracotta or dusty blue photograph beautifully against the gardens; on the beach, driftwood, linen and candles are enough. Fireworks, bubble machines and sparkler send-offs are all available as add-ons when you want a bigger finale.
A realistic timeline
Nine to twelve months out: choose the places and hold the date. Six months: menu tasting (in person or by video), photographer and music. Three months: florals, stationery and the running order. One month: final numbers, dietary notes and the seating plan. On the day, our planner is on site from set-up to the last song, so the only thing left for you is to turn up.
